What the role involves:

Professional History:

Prior to my appointment as Director of Potentia TSH. I have been an outstanding leader and teacher with 15 years experience in both special and secondary sectors. Most recently and as a member of staff at Swanwick School and Sports College, I have had the tremendous privilege of working alongside inspiring leaders and teachers who provide an outstanding and transformative educational experience to our pupils. During my time at SSSC I have also had the pleasure of teach some amazing pupils, providing them with academic, social and sporting opportunities that demonstrate what pupils with SEN can achieve.

In my capacity of school leadership, school improvement and teaching school alliance directorship I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting colleagues at all stages of their careers, assisting them to improve pupil outcomes.

Things you like to do outside of Potentia:

As a new dad, I love spending time with my wife and son. Watching him develop and grow is priceless, even when he wants to wake me up from a daddy nap. Sport is also a huge part of my life and if I am not found training in the early hours of the morning, you can find me clicked into my skis somewhere or with some sports equipment in my hand.

Most looking forward to whilst working for the Hub:

I am excited to work as part of this talented team and partnership to support teachers across our region to provide high quality outcomes for our pupils.
